The Coosa Valley Academy PTA will sponsor a “40-families” yard sale on May 3 at 7:00 a.m. in the CVA basketball gym located off of Hwy. 280 Harpersville. The sale will feature clothes, household items, toys, videos, DVD’s, paperback books, children’s coats and so much more!!!Come and shop with us!

Whit Lovelady had a big day all around, and the Coosa Valley Academy Rebel baseball team swept a doubleheader from Chambers Academy, 7-4 and 13-0.
Game 2 was a big one for Lovelady as he tossed a no-hitter on the mound, and added a pair of hits in a 13-0 victory. In Game 1, Lovelady drove in a pair of runs with a double to support winning pitcher Gage Holmes, who struck out four.
Offensive heroes were plentiful in each game for the Rebels (16-17). Ricky Ellison finished the night with two hits, including a two-run home run, and two runs scored. J.B. Ripley had a pair of hits, scoring three runs.

Coosa Valley Academy will hold a fund raising golf tournament on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at The Meadows Golf Course in Harpersville. 
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the CVA building / renovation fund.
